8th graders were excited to find out they were going to paint on a clear, glass ornament for their Christmas project this year. Before painting on the ornament, they created 3 ideas; a winter scene, a religious image, and anything Christmas. The following week, they received their ornament and began painting very carefully. They are turning out amazing and could be sold in a store! I love Johnny's invention for holding onto his ornament :) I underestimated the amount of time this would take- so I can't believe I am saying this, but I hope we don't have any snow days next week before break!! can you use acrylics or do you need to get glass paint?
acrylics are fantastic! i have them use a hair dryer to help speed the drying process..it has been really successful.
