Chairs That Care!

4th and 5th grade extended day students are painting old wooden chairs that have been found and donated to the art department. The plan is to have a silent auction during the Starry Night Art Show to help raise money for the art department. New idea (Thanks Mom!) so we'll see how it goes! The kids are painting in different styles according to the artists- Andy Warhol, Vincent van Gogh, Pablo Picasso, Henri Matisse, Henri Rousseau, and Wayne Thiebaud are the inspiration! The paintings are just fantastic- and we have only worked on them for 1 day!!! So here are pics of the start to amazing chair art :) Any suggestions on how to run a successful silent auction?

Thank you! There were 5 kids per chair...and then they stop by in the morning and after school. The pictures might of been taken from day 2 or 3 :)
