Paper Plate Spiral Weavings

Students were very into creating their paper plate spiral weaving. They were very calm and happy weaving with yarn on an everyday item, the paper plate. It was very cool to see their interesting color choices and patterns they created. One class even thought they looked like sushi rolls! haha :) This was a very successful project because each student put a lot of effort into their artwork. Each plate turned out so unique! When they were finished weaving, they painted the remaining plate. The results are stunning!

They used a paper plate and yarn. The "under, over" method was applied...it was easy and the results are fantastic!!
