Incredible Starry Night Paintings- 3rd Grade

I love Vincent van Gogh art lessons!  Each student creates their own interpretation of the Starry Night in this lesson.  We discussed how you feel when you look at this artwork, the movement in the artwork, and the use of color.  Of course, each student put their own twist on recreating the Starry Night using tempera paint and details with oil pastels.  We discussed the areas of a landscape (foreground, mid-ground, background) and they went to town!  The results are fantastic!
