What do you do when you have a huge box full of scrap paper? A Beast of The Sea collage inspired by Henri Matisse of course! The excitement from the first graders about cutting geometric and organic shapes was hilarious! So many "oooo-ing" and "ahhh-ing" about the shapes they were creating. This was a perfect project to practice motor skills and create right before spring break!
