Finished POP ART Faces- 5th Grade

5th Grade students have taken inspiration by Andy Warhol and turned themselves into a work of POP ART!  They used their shadows taken from a black and white photocopy to create a colorful yet realistic face in the style of Warhol's Marilyn Monroe painting  , Mickey Mouse , and Elvis Presley paintings, Then, they found 11 letters of their first initial in their first name.  (Example, Mary found M's)  Once the letters were glued down, they created a border using symbols and letters to describe themselves.  This POP ART project was all about them!  The kids want to make an 18 hour movie of them creating POP ART!
